Jabari had a troubled childhood and experienced extensive physical abuse, which left him blind in one eye. He was removed from his home at the age of 15. Since then, he has had difficulty trusting people and struggles with communication. However, he found solace in attending school and ultimately graduated with a bachelor's degree in Social Work.

Jabari cherishes the memories of spending summers with his grandpa, grilling together on the smoker, and bonding over good food and stories. After his grandpa passed away, those moments became his most treasured memories. Jabari is asking for an electric BBQ smoker to honor and continue his grandpa's legacy, recreate those special times, and share the joy of cooking and connecting with others, keeping his grandpa's spirit alive in his own way.
