Christian was removed from his parents' home due to extreme neglect, as well as physical and verbal abuse. Throughout his childhood, he has always put the needs of his siblings first, often sacrificing his own well-being to provide for them. He took on the responsibility of paying rent and supporting his family when his parents would not. Currently, Christian is living with a friend's parents and has been working hard to establish his adult life. He has recently acquired a car and secured a better-paying job. As part of a work-study program, he attends high school to complete his senior year in the mornings and then works in the afternoons and evenings. In addition to his studies and job, Christian is a student-athlete and attends a youth group with his brothers every week. He plans to attend college in the fall to pursue a career as a police officer.

Christian would like a metal tool chest to help him organize the tools he hopes to receive as a graduation gift. He currently works at a lumberyard and has learned woodworking through a class at school. He really enjoyed his shop class, where he built a bed frame, a dresser, and side tables. Christian wants to have storage for his tools to keep them organized when he gets his own place. He does a lot of home renovations and side work to save money for college and has developed various carpentry skills that he would like to put to use.
