After being removed from her mom's care, Denisha was placed with a cousin.

Denisha is a wonderful girl who is getting along well with her cousin, who is taking care of her after her mother lost custody due to abuse. Despite this, Denisha still visits her mother and feels sad that her mom won't leave her boyfriend, preventing Denisha from returning to live with her. Her cousin does everything possible to ensure Denisha feels safe and loved.
