Khadi and his brothers were removed from their mother's home after he was hospitalized due to unexplained injuries. Following this, he was placed with a cousin who is eager to keep him and his siblings safe in her home. Khadi is a sweet boy, but he is very shy and timid. He has some developmental delays but enjoys trying new things and exploring the world around him. He particularly likes cars and trucks, as well as building with blocks.

Khadi has experienced a great deal of abuse and is currently healing both physically and emotionally. He is living in a safe home with his cousin, who is working hard to ensure that he has joyful experiences like other children. She wants the boys to spend plenty of time playing outside this summer. Khadi would love to have a fun playhouse, as it would allow them to engage in creative activities and explore the outdoors. His cousin is grateful to have the summer off to be at home with them, allowing her to nurture their growth and encourage them to try new things.
