Denisha is a really good older sister to her younger brothers. She tries hard to ensure they are safe and comfortable and meet their needs. She loves to read and go to school and is working on gaining some confidence as she tries to catch up in school. She is such a sweet girl. After being removed from her mom's care, Denisha was placed with a cousin.

Denisha is a wonderful girl who is getting along well with her cousin, who is taking care of her after her mother lost custody due to abuse. Despite this, Denisha still visits her mother and feels sad that her mom won't leave her boyfriend, preventing Denisha from returning to live with her. Her cousin does everything possible to ensure Denisha feels safe and loved. To celebrate her birthday, she wants to plan an exciting weekend filled with fun activities, including shopping, dining out, and even staying at a hotel where they can swim and enjoy room service.
