Angel is a bright young man who enjoys playing different sports, hanging out with his family (including his little sister), and skating with his friends. Angel has been in and out of the foster care system since he was a baby. At times, he returned to his parents, but was then removed again on multiple occasions. Angel has flashbacks from his past, and he is reminded of the hardships he went through in the care of his parents, but also in the care of some foster homes. Despite all of this, Angel remains a respectful young man who still laughs and makes jokes with his social worker and with those around him.

Angel is currently living with his grandmother, due to an emergency placement. He was unable to take any of his belongings and is in need of school uniforms. Fortunately, he was able to remain in the same school, despite his grandmother's home being further away. The school has been working with Angel as he has gone through a lot, and they have not been marking him down for his non-compliance with the uniform, as they understand this is not his fault. The agency is working to get funding for the caregiver. However, this may take a while; his grandmother wants Angel to feel comfortable in school and not be more of a cause of attention, as he was already having a hard time with his peers.
