Sencyere, 8 years old, NJ

Urban League of Hudson CountySencyere is a shy and studious boy who enjoys reading, math, listening to music, dancing, and drawing. He also loves running around and playing with his younger brother. His passion for football is evident in his active participation during practice sessions, where he demonstrates both dedication and enthusiasm on the field.
Sencyere loves spending time with his family, especially on weekends when they play outside and have cozy movie nights. He’s had some tough times, like living with a relative for a year, but he’s really happy to be back with his mom and brother. There’s something special he wants: a new pair of sneakers. His mom recently lost her job, so she can’t buy them right now. A new pair of sneakers would mean a lot to him, not just because his old ones are worn out, but because it would bring him a little joy. It would be such a nice surprise that would surely make him smile!
