He has been in the country for less than a year. Fazul is an extremely polite and dedicated student, earning mostly As and Bs. He has dreams of attending college to study Computer Science. To manage stress and support his mental health, Fazul practices meditation, mindfulness, and regular exercise. He enjoys speaking with his family back home in Afghanistan and spending time with his resource family.
Fazul is interested in pursuing a career in computer science. He aspires to attend either UC Berkeley or MIT and is dedicated to earning the grades necessary for college admission. Currently, he uses a school-issued tablet for his assignments, but he understands the importance of having a laptop when he attends college to ensure his success.
