Shay is in foster care. She is independent and well-mannered, balancing her schoolwork, a nearly full-time job, and participation in a demanding program. Shay has a passion for helping others, especially children, and aspires to become a social worker to support individuals facing challenges similar to her own. She is dedicated and consistently puts others before herself.

Shay has had the same mattress since she entered foster care. Although she would never complain about it, her mattress has contributed to several back issues and has caused her difficulty sleeping. She hopes to get a new mattress to help alleviate some of her back problems and to create a bedroom environment where she feels safe and relaxed.
