Elijah lost everything in the middle of winter, with just his dog Ruby giving him hope. Dogs Matter stepped in and brought him to safety. From there, he moved into sober living with Ruby by his side.

Elijah wishes for essential clothing that will help him feel confident and prepared in both his daily life and workplace settings. He needs work-appropriate items such as slacks and shirts, as well as comfortable shoes, socks, and casual clothes to get through the summer. Having these items will enable him to dress appropriately for job opportunities while feeling comfortable and cared for in his everyday life.
