Chaniya is an amazing young lady in foster care, who has faced some tough times but still manages to keep a positive attitude. Chaniya has a great spirit and is always ready to take on new challenges. She is a natural advocate for herself and has a lot of energy, which helps her get along well with other children. Chaniya loves to be involved in her community and takes part in many activities such as gymnastics, basketball, swimming, after-school programs, dance, and church. She's a real star!

Chaniya started her loc journey about a year ago, and her hair is now long enough for extensions. She is excited to get installed before the school year ends. Her locs are important to her self-esteem and self-expression. The extensions will symbolize her identity and individuality.
