Missouri Baptist Children’s Home Children & Family MinistriesNick has been in foster care for a few years and has a vibrant, playful personality. Nick has a Level 2 autism diagnosis along with a moderate learning disability, but he never lets it get in the way of his enjoyment of life or the people around him.
Nick has level 2 autism and frequently talks about summer, particularly his anticipation of going to summer camp. He relies on assistance from others to help cover the financial costs of attending each year. The camp provides him with an opportunity to connect with other young people who have similar developmental levels and offers hands-on learning experiences and fun activities. Nick still fondly recalls the enjoyable things he got to do at camp last year. This wish has been divided up so that Nick can get the money he needs for camp. This is 2 of 2 and will pay for the second half of camp.
