Kingston is a bright autistic child who has been living in a foster home. He has developed a strong bond with this family, which has made their relationship very positive. Kingston is nonverbal and receives speech and feeding therapies.

Kingston often struggles with sleep, waking up multiple times during the night and getting out of bed, usually without realizing it. This behavior poses a serious safety risk since he doesn’t always recognize potential dangers around him. His tendency to throw things in his room could lead to damage or even injury. Despite his foster parents trying their best to create a safe sleeping environment, it still isn’t enough to keep him secure while allowing him the independence he needs to rest well. A canopy tent could be a great solution, providing an enclosed sleeping space that would not only prevent him from wandering at night but also help him feel calm and secure.
