Michael has lived in foster care for several years. Before his current placement, Michael and his five siblings were living with their maternal grandmother, who had been caring for him since he was two years old. He and his siblings were then removed from their grandmother's home due to issues related to domestic violence. Michael has five sisters who are placed in different foster homes. He also has one younger biological brother who was initially placed in the same foster home as Michael.

Michael enjoys watching TV and listening to music, but he also loves spending time outdoors. One of his effective coping strategies is to go outside and watch his iPad when he's feeling upset. To enhance his outdoor experience, he is requesting a portable TV stand for his smart TV. This way, he can easily take it outside and enjoy his favorite shows and music in the fresh air.
