Layla entered foster care at age 11 due to serious family problems that created an unstable and unsafe environment. Like many youth who have experienced trauma, she has faced challenges expressing her emotions and navigating conflict.

Layla became a young mother and is doing her best to handle the responsibilities that come with parenthood. Currently, she is in the early stages of parenting and has not yet been able to get a crib for her baby. She is wishing for a crib to provide her son with a safe and comfortable space to rest and play.
