Kay is a sweet girl who has been a victim of domestic violence. She and her mother had to relocate to escape her abusive father. Despite her young age, Kay is wise beyond her years due to having to be a support system for her mother. She also suffers from anxiety and PTSD. Despite her present situation, Kay is extremely resilient, and given time, she will heal. She just needs the opportunity to be a little girl.

Kay is an amazing little girl who is presently living with her grandmother while her mother works on being reunited with her. Despite her mom’s struggles, being separated from her is taking a toll on Kay. She struggles with anxiety and feeling responsible for her mom’s absence. Despite this, Kay is excited about her upcoming birthday and graduation. She would love to go to Hershey Park with her mom and siblings after her graduation to celebrate.
