Celeste is a curious and joyful girl who loves to eat and is very observant and active. She currently lives with her uncle and aunt after being separated from her mother at 2 months old due to neglect. Despite a tough upbringing, she has been blessed to have a safe and nurturing home with her family. Celeste has struggled to meet her developmental goals, but she continues to push forward, even though therapy has been difficult for her. Family time is crucial to her, and she feels loved and valued when she is part of family outings, such as visiting her favorite place, the zoo. She also loves food, especially spaghetti. Celeste attends daycare and is learning more developmental skills daily.

Celeste is a loving 1-year-old who is currently being adopted by her kinship parents. She enjoys interacting with her parents and the sibling placed in the home. Celeste loves reading books and demonstrates an understanding when her parents read to her. The parents would like to have a book that explains what adoption is and how Celeste will now be a part of their family!
