Jazira has a passion for baking and cooking, and she’s seriously contemplating pursuing a career in the culinary arts after high school. When she’s not in the kitchen, she loves spending time with her friends, often enjoying sunny days at the beach or relaxing by the river. Jazira also has a deep appreciation for her heritage, as she collects Native American art and takes great pride in her culture. Currently, she is being raised by her sister, who has been a wonderful support in her life.

Jazira has spent the majority of her life in foster care. She will be turning 18 next month, and although she plans to enroll in extended foster care, there are people in her life whom she won't see regularly. To help her remember those who have supported her over the years, Jazira would like to have a copy of "Oh, the Places You'll Go" for people to sign. This way, when she needs encouragement, she can read the messages from her supporters.
