1999 CollectiveMierry is a sweet young single mother who enjoys creating art with her children and singing. Mierry exited Utah's foster care system at the age of eighteen.
Mierry really wants to get her son some new shoes. It seems like a small wish, but it means a lot to both of them. She knows he has his heart set on a comfy pair. Hearing her son excitedly talking about the shoes he wants makes her feel both happy and sad. Helping him get these shoes would lift his spirits and bring them closer together.
