Zahmir is in foster care with his baby brother and is incredibly smart. He can already spell his name and identify all the letters. He loves talking about space, cars, and the weather. Through ABA and play therapy, he is making real strides in his development. His silliness brings joy to his baby brother, making him laugh.

Zahmir's family is moving to a rural location, which means he will be away from the park where he used to spend time with his family. As a pre-adoptive child, he will not have as many visits as he had in the past. The park was also a place where, when his parents didn't show up for visits, he could be distracted by the playground equipment. His favorite piece of equipment was the climbing dome, which was the first one he learned to use. He was particularly drawn to the enclosed swing because it made him feel safe from the outside world. This climbing dome for his home is large and designed to grow with him, providing a long-term play space that serves as a reminder of his favorite park when visits aren’t possible. Now, he can climb, hang, and play just as he used to at the park, whenever he wants. It transforms his yard into his own personal playground.
