Ammie has faced significant challenges in her life. Her experiences with child welfare haven't provided her with an easy or optimistic outlook for the future. However, as she transitions into adulthood, Ammie is determined to make the most of her circumstances. She is actively seeking opportunities to educate herself, grow, and mature. She's truly remarkable and just needs some support to continue on this hopeful new path.

Ammie has learned that using cutting boards protects the surfaces in her apartment and is safer for her while cooking. She wishes for a set of cutting boards for her birthday, as they will help her learn to prepare meals for herself.
