She experiences multiple disabilities and is required to take medication to remain healthy. She has been working hard to overcome homelessness and hopes to soon have a slot in a special rental assistance program specifically for youth who aged out of foster care and experience disabilities.
Alice is set to start college classes this summer and is excited about the opportunity to move forward in her life. She is currently high on a waiting list for a rental assistance program designed for youth who have aged out of foster care and have disabilities. Securing safe and stable housing is a crucial step that will enable her to focus on her education. Alice is requesting a refurbished MacBook Air to help her with her studies as she begins her college education this summer. Having this laptop will allow her to keep up with her coursework and work toward a future of independence, safety, and stability.
