Jamilet is a college student who is a mother and is an older sister who takes care of various siblings. Since coming out of foster care, she is the one responsible for all her siblings' needs. Jamilet would like to start a food business some day. She is close to graduating from Hostos Community College.

Jamilet is looking to get a new bed frame for her growing son as he has outgrown the old bedframe. As he suffers from asthma, he needs good sleep but struggles to fit on his old bed. A new bed frame will go a long way to help him.
