Nazia and her siblings were placed on a safety plan due to physical abuse and substance issues involving a relative. She is living separately from her siblings. Nazia has Mosaic Down syndrome, a heart defect, and a Mickey G-tube. Despite these challenges, Nazia is a happy and energetic toddler who loves to sing and dance.

Nazia is currently facing some developmental delays due to her medical needs, but she is set to receive occupational therapy services to support her growth. He caregivers believe that one effective way to help her improve her fine and gross motor skills is through play with building blocks. Having building blocks is not only beneficial for her development but is also portable, making them easy for her foster mom to take along on the go for extra practice.
