Rudi spent seven years in the foster care system, where she worked hard to overcome the challenges of lacking a support system and dealing with her anger. Despite feeling abandoned by her parents, Rudi discovered strength and determination within herself, learning to care for both herself and her brother. Throughout her hardships, she found comfort in her relationship with her aunt and in taking long walks alone to reflect on her thoughts. Rudi is incredibly proud of earning her place in college and dreams of opening a restaurant while advocating for foster youth.

Since aging out of the foster care system, Rudi has been couch surfing for a while. She has recently been approved for an apartment and looks forward to creating a comfortable space for herself. Rudi is very excited to finally have a place to call home. She hopes to receive an air filter to keep her new apartment clean and healthy.
