Liam is an amazing young man who resides in an Independent Living Program without his two siblings. Foster care was tough on Liam because he had to leave his siblings and the high school he loved.. Liam now gets to see his siblings, which has made him happy. He enjoys playing sports in his free time.

Liam had a successful first year at community college. He discovered a passion for running after setting a new record in the 200-meter at school. Excited by this experience, he plans to try out for the university track team when he transfers in the fall. Currently, Liam is enrolled in the Independent Living program, where he is learning to manage his income effectively. He works part-time but recently had to take two weeks off due to health issues. Liam is seeking assistance to purchase a pair of track sneakers to continue enjoying the sport he loves, running track. Having a new pair of track shoes would not only help him financially but also show him that there are people who care about him. He has struggled with asking for help in the past due to disappointments from those he hoped would support him.
