Mary is a beautiful young woman who has faced a challenging start in life. She came to the United States from Mexico and speaks only Spanish. Mary has a baby boy, and dedicates herself to being attentive and showering her baby with love. Mary is a fighter and an incredible advocate for herself; she does not allow her past struggles to affect her positive outlook on life. She and her baby have been placed with a wonderful foster mother who is helping them succeed together.

Mary is gearing up for the 10th grade with a sense of excitement and determination. Having navigated her first year of high school as a new mom, she not only impressed her teachers but also developed incredible resilience and time management skills. Now, as she looks forward to reconnecting with friends and diving deeper into her studies, Mary has her sights set on an iPad. This would be a valuable tool for her to work on school assignments at home and continue enhancing her English skills. With every challenge she faces, Mary proves that she has a passion for learning and a commitment to her education. This wish being granted would make a world of difference for Mary!
