Madelin is an incredible young woman who spent four years in foster care while growing up and overcame having foster parents who were not in it for the right reasons. She is incredibly resilient, recently received her GED, and is now pursuing a bachelor's degree. She wants to become a computer technician/systems engineer.

Despite the challenges she encountered in the foster care system, Madelin has remained dedicated to building a happy life for herself and her new daughter. She is about to transfer to a university where she intends to study software engineering. However, her computer has recently stopped working. Getting a new laptop would be a significant boost for Madelin's education and future career.
