Amira was removed from her father's home and placed in foster care. She continues to have a positive outlook on the world regardless of her current circumstances. Amira loves to read and write songs. She loves animals and hopes to have her own puppy one day. Amira loves school and dreams of being a nurse to help people.

Amira got accepted into the local community college and wants to study cybersecurity. She plans to transfer to a four-year university after earning her Associate's Degree. She believes starting at a two-year college will help her get ready for university. Amira works part-time at McDonald's and is saving money to help pay for school. Recently, she asked for a new pair of sneakers for school. Living in an Independent Living Program with limited family support, getting new school items would help her feel more normal, reduce stress, and boost her confidence.
