Jade aged out of the foster care system after five years, maintaining her sense of optimism and resilience despite many challenges. After being separated from her twin sister and family, she learned to be independent from a very young age. Although she struggled with a learning disability in high school, Jade managed to graduate and is now attending college. She is proud of her personal growth, the coping skills she has developed, and her commitment to turning adversity into strength. In five years, Jade envisions herself buying her first home and starting a family while also becoming a life coach for foster youth after earning her degree in Child Development.

Jade is dedicated to being a loving and supportive mother. She wants to provide her daughter with the joyful experiences she feels she missed during her time in foster care. One way she hopes to create fun moments is by getting a Ninja SLUSHi machine. With this machine, Jade envisions enjoying refreshing treats together with her daughter. It’s important for Jade to build happy memories and share enjoyable activities as part of their bonding experience.
