Gemma was removed from the care of her parents when she was almost a year old due to physical abuse. At age 2, Gemma was diagnosed with cancer, Neuroblastoma, which she fought bravely over many months until she was in remission. Unfortunately, in July 2025, Gemma's cancer returned, and she has been given a terminal diagnosis, with two to three months to live. She loves princesses, Frozen, and tea parties.

Gemma will be moved into a medical foster home for end-of-life/hospice care, which was decided upon by her team as a more comfortable option than the hospital. These items will make her stay and care more comfortable.
