Camila is a bright and curious girl who loves asking questions and figuring out how things work. Her spark hasn’t dimmed, even after the fear and confusion of being separated from her parents and placed in foster care. She has a quick smile and a hopeful spirit that helps lift up her younger siblings. School is one of the few places where she feels in control, and she takes pride in doing her best.

Camila would love to take a back-to-school shopping trip where she can pick out fun pens, notebooks, and a backpack that reflects her personality. She wants to make those choices herself and to feel like she matters and her voice counts. Having that bit of control would help her walk into the classroom feeling confident, capable, and a little more like herself.
