Romeo is currently in school learning how to be a barber, driven by a personal mission to make a difference. Having spent time in foster care, he recalls the struggles he faced with his hair while placed in group homes and with foster parents who didn’t know how to care for it. This experience ignited his passion for barbering, as he hopes to empower other foster youth by teaching them how to take care of their hair and boost their confidence. Outside of his studies, Romeo loves to immerse himself in nature. Whenever he has free time, you can find him hiking, biking, or exploring the great outdoors. His connection to nature inspires him and brings him joy, fueling his ambition to create a positive impact in the lives of others.

Romeo is hoping to get an inflatable paddleboard—something he has been dreaming about for a while. With his love for the outdoors and adventurous spirit, a paddleboard would be the perfect companion for his weekend getaways and spontaneous day trips. He plans to explore the beautiful lakes and rivers that stretch across Washington and Oregon, and having his own board would make those experiences even more memorable. Whether he’s gliding across a calm alpine lake at sunrise or paddling down a serene stretch of river, the freedom and joy that come with being on the water mean everything to him. An inflatable paddleboard would also be practical for Romeo. It’s easy to carry, store, and pack in the car, making it ideal for all his summer adventures. Most importantly, it would give him the chance to slow down, appreciate the beauty of nature, and enjoy the peaceful moments that come with being out on the water.
