Imani was placed in foster care along with her three younger siblings. However, due to her age, she was separated from them and placed in a group home. Although Imani dislikes being away from her siblings, she remains focused on accomplishing her educational goals and aspires to become a teacher one day.

Imani is incredibly excited about being accepted into the university she has always dreamed of attending. When she received her acceptance letter, she was overjoyed. Imani will be the very first person in her family to go to college! She plans to major in Journalism because she loves to write and wants to become a news reporter. In preparation for college, Imani has been busy gathering her supplies. She is a big fan of the Rugrats cartoon and even asked for a Rugrats backpack for school.
