Ruth is a girl from Central America who recently entered the program. She is an empathetic, humble, and reserved girl. She likes to bake, ride her bicycle to the park, and eat oranges off the tree in her backyard. Ruth is eager to learn the language and has been working hard to learn new words and phrases. Now she is interested in learning how to play the piano.

Ruth has eagerly embraced the English language and dedicated herself to completing high school. With her acceptance into community college, she is on the path to achieving her ultimate goal of becoming a nurse. To boost her confidence as she embarks on this new journey, Ruth is excited to shop for new clothing that will help her feel ready to tackle the challenges that college will bring.
