Ruth is a girl from Central America who recently entered the program. She is an empathetic, humble, and reserved girl. She likes to bake, ride her bicycle to the park, and eat oranges off the tree in her backyard. Ruth is eager to learn the language and has been working hard to learn new words and phrases. Now she is interested in learning how to play the piano.

Ruth has fully embraced the English language and committed herself to finishing high school. With her acceptance into community college, she is on her way to realizing her dream of becoming a nurse. To build her confidence as she embarks on this new adventure, Ruth is thrilled to shop for new clothing that will help her feel prepared to tackle the challenges of college life.
