Throughout his foster care journey, he has faced significant challenges during his years in state custody, experiencing numerous placements that led to the loss of important family connections and an overwhelming amount of change. Despite these hardships, he continues to show kindness and a willingness to help others. Although naturally shy, Andres is gradually finding safety and acceptance with his foster family, allowing him to open up and embrace the possibilities of his new life as he transitions toward adoption.
Andres is ready for school to start. He can't wait to see his friends again and see his favorite teachers. Andres is excited to learn new things that will help him grow. He has been thinking about all the interesting subjects he will explore this year. He would love to get some new school supplies to start the semester.
