Valerie is on an inspiring path to become a doctor, pouring her heart and soul into her studies. At 16, she and her sister found a new sense of belonging when they moved in with their grandparents after spending time in foster care. This change brought them the stability and love they had been searching for. When she's not deep in her textbooks, Valerie loves to cook, often crafting delicious meals that she shares with her family and friends. She also enjoys hosting fun game nights filled with laughter and friendly competition. On sunny days, when the weather is just right, she takes her bike out for a ride around the neighborhood, embracing the freedom of the open air and the little moments of happiness they bring.

Valerie wants a gold locket necklace because she’s dreamed of having one since she was a little girl. Her mom had a beautiful locket that she wore a lot, and Valerie was always amazed by it. She loved how it could open to show small, special photos inside. Valerie would spend time just holding it, feeling the love it held. To her, it was more than just jewelry; it was a treasure full of memories. Now that she's older, Valerie wants a locket of her own, something special that she can fill with pictures or symbols that are important to her. Having a locket like her mom’s would make her feel connected to her childhood and keep her mom's love close, no matter where she goes.

"Thank you so much for the beautiful gold locket. I’ve dreamed of having a locket like this since I was a little girl. My mom had one that she wore all the time, and I was always mesmerized by it, the way it opened, the tiny photos inside, and the love it seemed to hold. I used to sit and hold hers, feeling like it was a little treasure chest of memories. Now, having a locket of my own means more to me than I can put into words. I’m excited to fill it with pictures and symbols that are special to me and carry those memories and my mom’s love wherever I go. Thank you for giving me something so meaningful and thoughtful. I’ll cherish it always."
