Previously, she struggled with unhealthy decisions due to sadness and trauma from childhood abuse and a troubled relationship with her father, along with the recent loss of a child. She is working hard to heal and looking for ways to better take care of herself.

For her birthday, Jordayn wants to do something nice for herself and get her nails done. She spends most of her time taking care of her younger siblings and supporting her mom, which means she rarely takes time for herself. Getting her nails done would be a great way for Jordayn to feel valued and appreciated. It's a small act of self-care that reminds her she deserves some positive attention and care, too.
