DJ has the brightest smile! When he is happy, his eyes light up. Many things don’t come easy to DJ and his journey in foster care has been another challenge. He is beginning to feel settled in and safe at his new home. His foster family wants him to know that it is his forever home but it hard to trust at times because of all he has been through. In school he has been working so hard and his efforts are paying off as he has made growth toward being where his peers are. DJ loves animals and playing video games!

DJ is about to turn 8! This year, for his birthday, his foster family is redoing his room to make it more fitting for him as he gets older. DJs first request was a bigger bed! A full-sized mattress is perfect as it will give him more space to spread out as he grows.
