His grandparents, who are lovingly raising him, would give him the world if they could—but new sneakers like these are simply out of reach right now. Bryce doesn’t want to stand out for what he doesn’t have—he just wants to fit in during the new school year. A cool pair of sneakers would mean the world to him and help him start the school year with confidence.
