CASA NJ - Atlantic, Cape May, and Camden CountiesLa-Myra is a very bright young lady who loves writing, shopping, and the color pink. She is currently in the foster care system and is placed in a treatment home with other kids. Every person who meets La-Myra agrees that she is really smart, helpful, and loves to talk about everything. She is always looking to stay busy with different activities such as coloring, walking, or helping others around the home.
Since La-Myra is in a new placement and will be starting a new school, she is a little nervous and misses her best friend. La-Myra, who loves to write, would like a new journal to write things that happen at school, the treatment home, and her visits. She enjoys writing and see it as a way to cope with her feelings when she feels overwhelmed or nervous.
