The Lost & Found InstituteTina moved to the United States with her parents but soon ended up in foster care. This was a difficult time for her, as adjusting to a new country and being away from family was hard. To cope, she finds joy in singing and writing songs in her notebook, which helps her express her feelings. Tina loves spending time outdoors, whether walking or relaxing in the sun, as nature calms her. She also enjoys cooking, especially recipes that connect her to her home and culture. Despite life's challenges, her creativity and love for simple things keep her spirit alive.
Tina has her heart set on a cozy Ugg blanket. She loves anything soft and warm, and a Ugg blanket is at the top of her list. She imagines wrapping up in it after school, reading her favorite books, or watching movies on the couch. Having something that feels safe and comforting during a busy school year would mean a lot. She’s picked out her favorite color and talks about how soft it is every time she sees it in the store.
