Anita has such a sweet spirit about her. Despite having been in many different foster homes, she continues to push forward. Running is a passion of Anita's, which helps her balance her emotions and feel her best. Although she struggles to fit in with other kids due to her shyness, she remains determined. Anita's goal is to go to school to become a case worker to eventually help other kids just like her.

Anita is excited to start her new year of cross country with a fresh pair of running shoes. She loves running and feels fantastic while doing it, claiming that it's the time when she feels she can take on anything. She has noticed many of her teammates with stylish new shoes, and getting a pair would be such a confidence boost for her.
