Marchellos is a very smart and funny young man who loves to play basketball and has a passion for math. He was placed in foster care without his two younger siblings, which has caused him some difficulties during his time in care. Marchellos struggled to understand why he could not be with his brothers. However, he has now finally settled down. Although he was behind in school, Marchellos has worked diligently to improve his grades over the past two semesters. He aspires to join the Air Force upon graduation and learn how to fly planes. Despite his placement in foster care, Marchellos is determined to achieve his goal of one day flying commercial aircraft.

Marchellos will be a senior in high school this year after working hard in summer school. He made the varsity football team and has been practicing all summer. Marchellos works part-time at the local Wendy's and has been saving money to purchase his first car. He is focused on doing well in school this year and aims to graduate in June 2026. Marchellos also requested a new black hoodie for school. Providing him with new clothes increases his confidence and self-esteem, helps him feel included and accepted, and restores a sense of control in a chaotic environment. This positively impacts his well-being, social development, and ability to focus on his education.
