Skylar was abandoned by her mother, and after years of being shifted from one family member to another, she is now residing with her grandmother. She is a quiet, shy, and lovable little girl. She doesn't speak much until she gets to know someone, at which point she becomes quite the chatterbox! Her favorite color is pink, and she adores Hello Kitty. Currently, Skylar doesn't have any friends but is excited about the possibility of making some at school. She receives support from the Department of Children and Families Services.

Skylar has faced many challenges in her young life. Currently, she lives with her grandmother after being moved around between family members. After the difficult experience of being abandoned by her mother, she is now in a stable home and looking forward to starting kindergarten next month. Skylar is excited about making new friends and is a big fan of all things girly, especially Hello Kitty. She dreams of having a Hello Kitty backpack to take to school with her!
