Ruth is a girl from Central America who recently entered the program. She is an empathetic, humble, and reserved girl. She likes to bake, ride her bicycle to the park, and eat oranges off the tree in her backyard. Ruth is eager to learn the language and has been working hard to learn new words and phrases. Now she is interested in learning how to play the piano.

Ruth has been accepted into community college, which brings her closer to her goal of becoming a nurse. To boost her self-esteem for this new journey, she is looking forward to shopping for new clothes that will help her feel prepared and confident for the challenges of college. This request has been split into two wishes to allow for a successful shopping trip. This is wish 1 of 2.
