Mia is a strong young woman who has had to overcome a lot in her life, especially as a transgender person and a foster youth. Despite the challenges she faces, she is starting to see a brighter future for herself. One of her big steps is enrolling at San Diego City College. While there are still tough times ahead, Mia’s determination to achieve independence and grow as a person is really inspiring. She is dedicated to creating a better life for herself, and her resilience shows just how courageous she truly is.

Mia is eager to get ready for the upcoming school year and would greatly appreciate a gift card to help her purchase all the necessary supplies. Although school hasn't started yet, she wants to be prepared, making the gift card even more helpful. Currently, Mia is not working, but she dedicates her time to volunteering at a youth center, where she enjoys supporting other foster youth. This request has been split into two wishes to allow for a great shopping trip! This is wish 2 of 2.
