Garret entered foster care shortly after his fourth birthday due to severe developmental delays, such as limited speech and being in diapers. His favorite activities include riding his bike, building forts for himself and his baby brothers to play in, "working" on projects with his tools, and creating elaborate "homes" with his favorite toy: magnet tiles.
