Vida is an amazing young lady who was placed in foster care but still finds a reason to smile and help others. Vida likes to volunteer at the food pantry at her church on the weekends. Vida loves school and is a great student. She loves sports and is currently on her high school's girls basketball team. Vida has not allowed her situation to stop her finding joy in the smallest of things.

Vida has been accepted to college, where she will be studying computer technology and psychology. After completing orientation, she received a list of supplies she'll need for her studies. Excitingly, she will be moving onto campus at the end of the month, making her the very first in her family to attend college. Thanks to a couple of scholarships, Vida has been able to cover most of her expenses, but she is still in need of a laptop. Although she prefers to tackle challenges on her own rather than ask for help—fearing disappointment—Vida understands the importance of computer literacy in today’s tech-driven world. She wishes for a computer that will get her started on the right foot. With her determination and resourcefulness, she is poised to make the most of this incredible opportunity!
