Darla is experiencing a lot of anxiety and is having a difficult time. She is sweet and quiet, and serves as a good role model for her two younger siblings, all of whom have had their parents' rights terminated. Darla loves to read and listen to music. She wants to get a job but is waiting until she moves in with her relatives to determine where to apply.

When Darla was asked what she wanted most, she quickly said she wanted a bunk bed set. This would let her and her siblings move in with their relatives, who have a room for them but no beds. Darla is really excited about the idea of having beds because it means she can be with her family soon. For her, this change would bring comfort and make her feel like she belongs, which would really help her feel better overall.
